It turns out that the sketchy pizza place I blogged about last time was fairly good. It wasn't awesome, but it wasn't as bad as I feared. I liked the cheese and gyro meat and the only real complaint I had was that it wasn't even a little bit crispy Ian, my pizza BFF, wrote up the whole thing

Any opinion on Papa Murphy's take & bake? I really like their sauce.
Alex, I haven't been there in a very very long time, so I don't really know what they might taste like now. Last time I went they had changed some ingredients and it was distinctly different from my previous experiences (in a bad way). As far as the concept itself, I can see its advantages especially for busy parents who might want to keep the illusion that they are making dinner.
Actually I can imagine Papa Murphy's vegetarian pizza as being a far healthier alternative to home-made Mac n' cheese. It's nothing like those calorie-bomb pizzas from Papa John's or Pizza Hut.
